Easiest Calzone Recipe..ever

This is the easiest calzone recipe ever. Also, its delicious.

I didn’t find out until after the fact that my husband is not the biggest fan of calzones…at least until he ate these. Twice. He’s now a believer.

  • Refrigerated pizza dough
  • Marinara sauce (can make homemade using this recipe) I used store bought for convenience
  • 1/4 c Low fat ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 c Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 – 1/2 c Low fat mozz. cheese
  • Turkey pepperonis
  • Black olives
  • Olive oil

Step One: Roll out pizza dough, cut in half

Moldiv_1395236640029Step Two: Add cheeses to bowl (the above amounts for each cheese are just suggestions. Use how ever much/little you like)

Step Three: Spread a a little marinara sauce on dough

Step Four: Place pepperoni

Step Five: Add olives

Step Six: Cover with cheese from bowl

Step Seven: Fold over and press seems with fork to close

Moldiv_1395236730057Step Eight: Make slits in top, brush a little olive oil on top (this gives it the nice browning)

Step Nine: Bake at 350 for 12-15 min, until its golden brown and cheese has melted
