Trip home

Well I guess it’s not really “home” anymore now that Georgia is home but I guess there’s always a part of you that calls your childhood town your home. I had a great time visiting with my family.

First stop:

Of course. It absolutely hit the spot.

Then I spent some time with Pepper. We got her when I was in 8th grade I think? I mean she’s old. Hint the gray in her face…but man she rocks. I would clone her if I could. Best. Dog. Ever

My parents also have a killer garden. One thing I can’t wait to own a home for: to grow some veggies

This tomato right here…delish. There really is something about homegrown tomatoes that the grocery store just can’t measure up to.

My mom and I made a quick trip to Costco.

Of course I had to try the Jalapeno pimento cheese. (among a few other samples that caught my eye)

Something else that caught my eye

Yup. Worth every calorie in them.

So my dad made stakes and yummy veggies. And lets not forget my absolute, to die for, dessert.

Bananas Fosters…

I really wish you could take a bite. If you have never had bananas foster…please find a way to try it. You won’t be sorry.

Then on to spend some time with these two cuties

My nieces.

She just turned one.

Loved it! Aunt life is truly the best!

My brother introduced me to a new game. (We are a “gaming” family)

Dominion. Anyone ever played? It’s pretty legit.

Definitely a game worth learning.

I had a fabulous time and I definitely miss being close to them!

Happy Monday!
