You know you found a keeper recipe when your husband asks for it two nights in a row 😉
That was the case with this one.
The Chicken Philly Cheese Sandwich.
- 3 chicken breasts (cut in bite size pieces)
- Provolone cheese
- 1 sweet onion
- 2 green bell peppers
- 1-2 tbs butter
- 2 tbs dales steak sauce
- salt and pepper
Step 1: Plug up your crock-pot and add butter
Step 2: Add green pepper and onion, chicken, dale’s sauce and salt and pepper to taste
Step 3: Cook low for 5 hours or high for 3
Step 4: Cut open your bread of choice and spoon crock-pot contents into bun
Step 5: Top with provolone cheese
Step 6: Bake at 300-350 degrees for about 10 min, until cheese is melted
Enjoy. It simply is THAT easy.
